I am a reading specialist focusing on explicit phonics instruction and comprehension. I am most familiar with 1st- to 3rd-grade students. I also have a strong background in 1st- and 2nd-grade math. \nI will work with students on homework, oral reading, comprehension, and math foundational skills with games. There will be plenty of brain breaks and ways for students to take a break so that we are not working for 30 or 60 minutes straight.
